With a lot of media coverage focused on new restaurants in Detroit, there is very little focus given to Detroit residents who cannot afford to eat at those restaurants. With close to 50% of Detroit households facing food insecurity, the Detroit Food Policy Council’s work to improve the Food System is absolutely crucial.
