-Bladnoch Distillery is the oldest working Scotch distillery in the Scottish Lowlands and is helmed by Master Distiller Nick Savage (formerly of The Macallan).
-The over 200-years-old distillery is the home of Bladnoch, a line of rare Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, and Pure Scot, a premium, award-winning Blended Scotch Whisky brand.-Bladnoch Distillery is truly a sustainably-minded business for those looking to drink more eco-friendly spirits.-Bladnoch is committed to investing in environmentally conscious initiatives and has partnered with Zero Waste Scotland to ensure the distillery is completely plastic free. -Also partnered with SEPA and the Fisheries Trust to repair and secure the River Bladnoch that flows alongside the distillery.-Committed to investing in tangible conservation efforts and are currently undertaking a comprehensive feasibility study into opportunities for reducing and offsetting their carbon footprint at Bladnoch Distillery. The goal is to be carbon neutral by 2024.-Pure Scot has made recent strides in its packaging refinement, committing to using recyclable components only. Making the change from toxic screen printing to recyclable paper labels on its bottle, and from a heavy ink carton with spot UV to a craft, recyclable carton with no plastic elements. -Pure Scot is truly passionate about the preservation of the environment and wildlife, and has pledged support to the vital work of the Greening Australia and Wildlife Warriors organizations donating 1% of annual sales.
